Tabbie and Ryan connected when Tabbie moved in with her boyfriend (Now Husband) who have been long time friends and neighbors up in Samak. Sitting around a fire last summer Ryan caught wind of Tabbie's love of skijoring and was so excited to make the goal of competing in the next skijoring in Heber 2025. Ryan and Tabbie are beyond excited to compete this year, while a prize would be awesome our most important thing to do is to have fun!

HORSE: Tanzor

- 12 Year Old OTTB

- Tanzor started life out as a racehorse in California but was a little unmotivated at the time to be any good on the track. Tabbie meet Tanzor when he was a 4 year old fresh off the track. She fell in love with him the moment he came of the trailer when he arrived at the barn she worked at. Tabbie wanted to buy him but at the time decided not to. 2 months later the temptation won her over and she bought him. Since then he has had multiple jobs doing jumping, eventing and dabbling a little bit in barrel racing. He's one of the coolest most laid back, do anything kind of horse. This will be Tanzor's first time competing in Skijoring. We will see how he feels about the crowd and excitement on a different kind of track.

RIDER: Tabbie Jo Rider

- Tabbie is a veterinary technician and anesthesia technician at South Valley Equine. While she spends a good majority of her time caring for patients at the clinic, in her off time she loves being with her horses exploring everything the industry has to offer. This will be Tabbie's 5th year competing in skijoring.

SKIER: Ryan Lafontaine

- Ryan absolutely loves the great outdoors, with one of his favorite outdoor activities being skiing. Other than skiing he enjoys hiking and has been on the frontline fighting fires for years. Ryan was a big help to the recent fire last summer up in the kamas/uintah areas. Ryan also loves to spend time with his beautiful daughter and sharing his love of the mountains with her when he can.
