HORSE: Swayze

- Quarter Horse Mare, age 7

- Swayze loves trail riding. She has done some Cowboy Dressage and worked with cattle as well. She loves to go fast and is excited to be in the competition for her first time.

RIDER: Kari Poulsen

- Kari is an Accounts Payable Representative for Fresenius to pay for her horse habit. She has been riding horses for 48 years. She loves learning about horses. She has done lots of different things with horses from 4-h to junior posse, high school and college rodeo, adult riding club, riding racing mules in California and Nevada, participating in team penning and team sorting, endurance riding, training mustangs and race horses, extereme cowboy challenges, and raising and training her own horses. This is her first time skijoring and she is excited to participate.

SKIER: Teresa Nordquist

- Teresa is happy to finally be participating in skijoring. She grew up waterskiing and started snowboarding and skiing as she got older. She enjoys riding her horses as well and loves that she is participating in a sport that includes two of her favorite things.
